Please consult our below chronological schedule of events (both in person on Mile End Campus or virtual) taking place during the 2025/26 academic year including:

  • promotional events for students considering going abroad during 2026/27 or summer 2026
  • returnee events for participants who were abroad during 2024/25 or summer 2025

Please note that timings and locations for some events are not yet finalised and some event timings may be subject to change. Therefore, we recommend you revisit this page and the QMplus page calendar of events frequently for the latest updates. All times are listed in local London time.

Events for returnee students abroad during 2024/25 or summer 2025

  • 23 Sep 2025 & 25 Sep and (12.00-13.30) - Skills Development workshop: “Career Planning: Harnessing Skills from your Placement Abroad" (virtual, registration required)
  •  (date TBC, evening) - "Welcome back!" Returnee Social (in person, registration required)

  • 18 Sep 2025 (11.00-18.00) & Fri 19 Sep (10.00-16.00)- Students' Union Welcome Fair, come visit our Global Opportunities stand
  • 02 Oct 2025 (16.00-17.00) - Global Opportunities outgoing mobility promotional talk #1 (in person)
  • 02 Oct 2025 (17.00-18.00) - Finance and affordability workshop for 2026/27 exchanges (in person)
  • 13 Oct 2025 (10.00-13.00) - GO Ambassador drop-in advice surgery (in person) #1
  • 13 Oct 2025 (17.00-18.00) - Application questions workshop for 2026/27 exchanges #1, delivered by Careers & Enterprise (in person, registration required)
  • 16 Oct 2025 (12.00-13.00) - Global Opportunities outgoing mobility promotional talk #2 (virtual)
  • 22 Oct 2025 (exact times tbc) - "Choosing the right destination for you" workshop and panel event, with GO Ambassadors (in person)
  • 22 Oct 2025 (time TBC) - GO Abroad Networking Event 2025 (in person)
  • 23 Oct 2025 (13.00-16.00) - GO Ambassador drop-in advice surgery (in person) #2
