Social Justice Policy Clinic
The Social Justice Policy Clinic is a new project for 2025, led by the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre.
Students work in small groups under the supervision of clinic staff, to identify and explore a current legal or policy issue relating to social justice. They work together and in partnership with academic staff members and/or external NGO and legal professional partners to analyse current law and policy, research the issue in more detail, consider possibilities for legal and/or policy reform and then present their proposals for change.
Through involvement in the Social Justice Policy Clinic, students have the opportunity to improve their teamwork, research, interviewing and presentation skills, as well as to develop their understanding of legal and policy reform.
