How did you find the teaching and learning?

I found the teaching at Queen Mary to be engaging and comprehensive. The lecturers were not only experts in their fields but also genuinely passionate about their subjects, which made a big difference in how I approached my studies. I appreciated the mix of lectures, seminars, and independent research that encouraged critical thinking. The support from academic staff offered plenty of opportunities for one-on-one guidance and feedback.

Has gaining a deeper understanding of your specialisation helped your career and how?

Yes, absolutely. My time at Queen Mary allowed me to gain a much deeper and more nuanced understanding of my field, which has been invaluable in my career. The specialized knowledge I developed gave me a competitive edge and enabled me to tackle complex challenges with confidence. In particular, the research skills I honed during my degree have been essential, allowing me to approach problems analytically and creatively.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

My advice would be to make the most of the opportunities to network and build connections both within and outside the university. Don’t hesitate to ask questions and engage with your professors—they are incredibly approachable and can offer valuable insights.
