How did you find the teaching and learning?

The teaching and learning experience at CCLS was both enriching and transformative. The modules were thoughtfully designed to bridge theory and practice, delivered by leading academics and industry experts who brought real-world insights into every session. The interactive nature of the programme—through case studies, debates, and collaborative projects—created an engaging environment that deepened my understanding of complex regulatory and compliance frameworks. It was truly a space that fostered intellectual curiosity and practical problem-solving.

Has gaining a deeper understanding of your specialisation helped your career and how?

Undoubtedly. The LLM in Regulation and Compliance has been instrumental in strengthening my career. It equipped me with advanced analytical tools, a global perspective, and a profound understanding of international regulatory frameworks and governance standards. This has enabled me to provide strategic, high-value advice to multinational corporations across industries such as fintech, energy, pharmaceuticals, and FMCG. I am now better positioned to navigate complex regulatory challenges, mitigate risks, and drive governance solutions, adding value to both my clients and my firm.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

Engage fully with the programme and all the opportunities it offers. Take advantage of the exceptional resources, networks, and expertise available—whether through lectures, seminars, or discussions with your peers and professors. Be curious, proactive, and open to learning. Regulation and compliance are dynamic fields, and success requires the ability to adapt, innovate, and ask the right questions.
