Library Services Enhancement Project

Library Services Enhancement Project
The Library Services Enhancement Project (LSEP), launched in August 2023, is a transformative initiative designed to strengthen Queen Mary’s Library Services. Backed by benchmarking data and university leadership, the project focuses on strategic growth by expanding collections, enhancing resources, and increasing accessibility. Key investments include the recruitment of additional permanent staff, the formation of the Library Innovation and Planning team, and a significant boost to the collections budget, allowing for greater purchasing power for books, journals, and databases.
With a vision set for 2030, the project aims to position Queen Mary Libraries as a leading academic resource, supporting learning, research, and institutional visibility. By prioritising user-focused services, enriching unique collections, and developing inspiring, accessible spaces, LSEP ensures that the library remains a cornerstone of academic excellence and innovation.
