Library Drop-in Sessions
The Academic Skills team run several different drop-in sessions - some online and some in person - throughout the week. You can use these sessions to ask one of our advisers a question relating to your studies at a time that is convenient for you, and there's no need to book!
In general, the support available in the drop-in sessions is split into three categories:
Academic Skills – this covers queries relating to reading, writing, preparing for exams, time management, and presentation skills.
Information Skills – this cover queries relating to finding resources, using databases, and referencing
Maths and Statistics – this covers queries relating to numeracy, maths, statistics, and data analysis.

Please note: Some drop-ins only run during teaching weeks and over summer, and not during teaching breaks before exam periods or over exam periods. For the most up-to-date information please click on on the box at the bottom of the page that relates to your campus/faculty. In general, when the drop-ins are running they run at the following times:

Whitechapel: Not available, please book an appointment instead
