BL Malta Muslim Girls' Society

The BL MGSoc is a social society with the aim of creating core memories with girls who have similar interests. Whilst the society is mainly for Muslim women, we are open to all women who might be interested in some girls-only-alcohol-free fun. Ultimately we hope to create a safe space for all [Muslim] girlies as they navigate the course and living in Gozo. The society’s events will fall under two categories either more social or faith oriented such that we create space for everyone (we cannot promise that these categories will not intersect). Events we typically host are:

• Iman workshops- a chance to learn and explore more practical steps to reconnect with our faith
• Circle chats- a safe open environment to discuss the realities of being a Muslim woman in the world nowadays 
• Dinners- including Eids and iftars
• Brunches
• Themed games/movie nights
• Congregation prayers
