Patient and Family Day for People with Arthritis - 20 September 2025

Patient and Family Day for people with arthritisThe Musculoskeletal Barts BRC warmly invites you to our upcoming “Patient and Family Day for People with Arthritis” on Saturday, 20th September 2025, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Old Library and Griff-Garrod Building, Whitechapel (Turner Street, London E1 2AD). Registration is required to secure your place; no entry will be permitted on the day without registering.

This special event is designed for patients and their families to:

  • Meet the students, scientists, and clinicians working hard behind the scenes to discover better treatments and cures for joint conditions.
  • Share your views and suggestions on our research to help shape future priorities.
  • Enjoy live science demonstrations, short talks, and posters showcasing our work.
  • Participate in a patient–clinician panel discussion, where participants will share their experiences of being actively involved in research.

It will be an informal, welcoming day with plenty of tea, coffee, and lunch provided.

We’re also delighted that the Centre of the Cell will support the event, making it engaging for younger family members - please, bring them along!

This event is sponsored and hosted by the NIHR Barts Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), Versus Arthritis and Queen Mary University of London.
