Dr Yiheng Chen is a Lecturer in Multi-Omics at Queen Mary University of London’s Precision Healthcare University Research Institute (PHURI). He earned a BSc and MSc in Human Nutrition and a PhD in Human Genetics from McGill University. During his PhD, he investigated the genetic determinants of circulating metabolites and used these insights to identify biomarkers and prioritize drug targets.
His current research focuses on leveraging large-scale multi-omics data to elucidate metabolic pathways and disease mechanisms, and on integrating multi-omics with electronic health records to pinpoint key predictors and causal factors for common and rare diseases.
