Profile

Dr Foteini Kalantzi is a Research Associate at the School of Politics and International Relations, QMUL. She has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the American College of Greece, a Research Fellow at ALBA Business Graduate School/Deree, and a Visiting Lecturer at the Jean Monnet Summer School, at the International Master in Security, Intelligence & Strategic Studies, Dublin City University.

She was A.G. Leventis Research Fellow and a College Advisor at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford. She was also a post-doctoral fellow at Aristotle University on a Horizon project on resilience and smart cities and a research associate at the ‘Migration Diplomacy and Turkish-EU relations’ project of the Oxford-Berlin Research Partnership; and the convenor of the ‘International Politics of Migration, Refugees and Diaspora’ working group of British International Studies Association. Before she was a Teaching Fellow in City Unity College–University of Strasbourg, a research associate at the Hellenic Centre for European Affair and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy. In the past she worked as a journalist at Apogevmatini, Modern Diplomacy, New Europe (Brussels), and Global Citizen (Dubai), as media relations consultant, and financial conferences producer.
