Research topic: The indentured state: programmable infrastructures and structural violence

Research Interests: Critical data studies, political economy of digital transformation and automation, public administration, social (in)justice

Prior to the PhD, Nika worked in investigative art and culture sector, as Director of Community Relations (Aksioma Institute), Curator of the conference that forms Grounded Festival (Institute for Culture of Diversity Open), and Production and Strategy Trainee (Pekinpah Association). Their previous work experience includes journalism, as well as building and theorising civic technology.
