New Bite-Sized Legal Education Videos on the qLegal Resource Hub
In July, the qLegal Resource Hub expanded with the launch of new bite-sized legal education videos. These videos were developed through the volunteer Public Legal Education stream as an additional resource to complement the interactive workshops delivered by students.

As with the workshops, students carried out thorough legal research before drafting the scripts, which were then reviewed and approved for legal accuracy by qLegal’s supporting solicitors. The aim was to ensure the videos remained accessible, personable, and informative.
The videos now available on the Resource Hub include:
Environment, Social, Governance
- An introduction to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and green claims
- Best tips for making green claims responsibly
- How to comply with green claims advertising rules
Data Privacy
Intellectual Property
- Thinking through whether you need a patent
- How to patent an invention in the UK
- How to protect your invention by avoiding disclosures
The successful introduction of these new videos will continue with the next cohort of qLegal volunteers and is part of a wider objective to develop the free resources available on the qLegal website.
