Opening new horizons: qLegal Students share their stories
At qLegal, students don’t just learn about the law – they experience it in action.
qLegal gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience while studying, and participating in qLegal’s extracurricular programmes and credit-bearing modules is regularly one of the reasons students cite for their decision to study at Queen Mary University of London.
During the qLegal graduation ceremony on 5 June, students were asked to share how qLegal has shaped their journey in law. From sparking new career aspirations and boosting their employability, to building a sense of community, gaining confidence and stepping outside their comfort zones, their reflections show the real impact of learning by doing and the important role pro bono support plays in the start-up ecosystem.
