Teaching Recognition

The Teaching Recognition Programme recognises and promotes excellence in teaching and learning. We support educators applying for Fellowship with Advance HE.

On these pages you’ll find everything you need to know about taking this next, exciting step in your academic career, from identifying which Fellowship is for you, to support with your application.

News and Events

For me, mentoring is an opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, as each conversation brings new insights into the challenges and innovations shaping teaching and learning. Engaging in these discussions strengthens my ability to offer constructive feedback, enhances my ability to support and guide others, and reinforces my commitment to continuous growth. Reviewing fellowship applications for teaching recognition is equally rewarding, as it allows me to celebrate colleagues' achievements. It is particularly fulfilling to help individuals gain well-deserved recognition for their work. The most rewarding aspect of both mentoring and reviewing is seeing colleagues grow in confidence in their teaching approaches and practice while achieving their professional goals.
