As Course Representative for the Pre-Master’s programme, I took a proactive and strategic approach to support international students navigating academic and cultural transitions in the UK. I initiated early community-building activities - including digital group chats and an informal induction lunch - and consistently gathered and communicated student feedback at both programme and School-wide levels; resulting in meaningful improvements to teaching and assessment. I also led fortnightly academic and pastoral support sessions for students facing language and confidence challenges and created guidance materials for future representatives. These experiences continue to shape my part-time role as an Entrepreneurship Assistant at the Queen Mary Innovation Centre and within the Careers & Enterprise Department.
