During my SSC and final-year elective, I engaged in near-peer teaching for eight weeks, delivering tailored sessions to clinical-year students at an East London GP practice. Identifying a gap in tutor resources, I developed a teaching preparation form, which will be published on the Near-Peer SSC website.

Beyond the practice, I collaborated with the Community Based Medical Education team to co-create workshops on curriculum and professionalism. This included creating roleplays and advocating student-centred innovations, such as near-peer mentors and inclusive inductions. The experience has deepened my commitment to medical education and strengthened my confidence in delivering impactful, reflective teaching.
