Studying at the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London has been a pivotal chapter in my life — academically, professionally, and personally.

For Rishi, the programme offered not only a degree, but also the foundation for a transformative journey in leadership, strategy, and innovation.

"The MSc Management programme empowered me with rigorous business knowledge while giving me the space to pursue my passion,” he shared, reflecting on how the academic experience at Queen Mary helped sharpen his focus and ambition".

But it was the real-world exposure that truly set their time here apart. From the qHeritage Project to QMUL ReMAKE and QHack, this student took full advantage of opportunities to apply business theory in practical, socially driven contexts. Rishi explains:

"These experiences strengthened my problem-solving abilities, cross-functional teamwork, and real-world application of business concepts — skills that I carry with me every day."

Their standout involvement didn’t end there. Being invited to serve as a Research Associate at the School was a defining highlight.

Being offered the opportunity to serve as a Research Associate at SBM was both an honour and a significant learning curve. It deepened my academic curiosity and reaffirmed my aspirations, where I hope to continue building on the values and vision that SBM instilled in me.

What tied it all together was the SBM community itself. Rishi remarks:

The school’s inclusive, globally connected environment, supportive faculty, and vibrant community of peers helped me evolve not just as a student, but as a purpose-driven leader.

Their message to prospective students? A wholehearted endorsement:

I wholeheartedly recommend SBM to anyone seeking not just a degree but a journey of transformation, ambition, and global impact.
