Become a Student VC
As a Student VC, you will learn by doing. The programme offers training to provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills you need to jumpstart your venture capital journey, with support from industry mentors and faculty members.
Eligibility
- Current Queen Mary University of London postgraduate students
- Highly motivated and teamwork oriented
- Passionate about entrepreneurship and making a real impact in the world
- Able to attend weekly training sessions on Thursdays, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (TBC)
- Willing to dedicate 4-8 hours per week to work on QMSVF tasks and learning
- NO prior finance/venture capital/investment experience required though any entrepreneurial experience is a plus
Application Process
Stage 1: Online Application (From August 2025, on a rolling basis)
Application Deadline Sunday 28th September 2025
Stage 2: Interview 
Interview between Monday 29th September and Thursday 2nd October 2025.
Stage 3: Result Notification (Friday 3rd October 2025)
Programme Duration: October 2025 – April 2026 (TBC)
