Creative Writing
Creative Writing at Queen Mary features a dynamic cluster of writer-practitioners working across fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Team members have published novels, memoirs, hybrid nonfiction, essays, poetry, and volumes of history. Recent publications include Isabel Waidner's Goldsmiths' Prize winner 'Sterling Karat Gold', Brian Dillon’s Essayism, Nisha Ramayya’s collection States of the Body Produced by Love, and the novel Country by Michael Hughes. The department is home to Wasafiri one of the world's leading publications of international contemporary writing.
