After completing a Master’s in Black British Writing at Goldsmiths University, I won a LAHP funded studentship to undertake a Doctoral Award at QMUL in collaboration with Wasafiri Magazine and the British Library.

Recent and On-Going Research
I am currently drawing on methodologies from postcolonial and global literary studies combined with book and magazine history to explore the background and history of Wasafiri in publication since 1984.
Publications
I have recently co-edited my own issue of Wasafiri Magazine with Darren Chetty and Professor Nicola Rollock, on the topic of ‘Reimagining Education’. It was released in November 2022.
