Profile

Ms. Ran Wei was appointed as the Chinese Director of the QUML Confucius Institute in August 2025.

The Confucius Institute plays a crucial role in fostering academic and cultural exchanges and collaboration between BUPT and QMUL. In her role as the Chinese Director, Wei Ran is responsible for facilitating exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, recruiting Chinese language teachers, managing the teaching team, and facilitating various administrative tasks for the Confucius Institute.
