General information

A synopsis of nine cover pages of Language module guides

In academic year 2025/26, only credit-bearing language modules will be offered for Queen Mary students, i.e., modules counting towards a student's undergraduate degree programme, where such programmes allow students to take a credit-bearing language elective. Registration for these is via the student record system, MySIS. Non-credit bearing (extracurricular) language modules for students, staff or members of the public will not be offered in 2025/26.

If you’re a Queen Mary student, you can take a language module for credit if this fits with your programme regulations and is approved by your home school. Please see below “How do I choose a language module for credit?” for more information. If you did not register for a language module in March/April 2025 and you still want to do so, changes to module selections can be made in September 2025, before the start of teaching.
