Dr Tim Lindemann

Profile

Tim is a Teaching Fellow in German Language and Culture. He completed his PhD in Film Studies at Queen Mary in 2023. His thesis is titled New Rural Cinema - Landscape, Community and Poverty in Recent US Indie Films and has been published as a monograph by DeGruyter in 2024.

Tim has worked in both German language teaching at institutions like King's College London and Alpadia Language School, Berlin as well as in film curation at the Deutsche Kinemathek, Berlin.
