Clement Chan

Profile

Hon Leung Clement Chan is a PhD researcher in Applied Linguistics at the School of Languages, Linguistics and Film. His research interests include language and migration, migration and identity, identity construction from the perspective of sociolinguistics, and narrative analysis. Funded by QMUL HSS Research Studentship, his PhD study investigates the discursive identity construction and linguistic practices of Hong Kong transnational migrants via narratives.
