Alysa manages the TELT’s Training and Support area.
Members of Training and Support are often the first point of contact for TELT related queries, offering support to staff and students via the ITS Helpdesk email and ticketing platform. Training and Support also oversee the TEL staff development programme as well as the TEL new student inductions. We recruit and work with TEL Student Ambassadors to deliver student inductions, as well as offer support via drop ins and our TELT Instagram and QMplus support pages.
Alysa has worked at QMUL in Technology Enhanced Learning since 2010, starting as an E-Learning Support Analyst for the then E-Learning Unit (ELU), before it became TELT. Prior to this, Alysa lived and worked in Miami, Florida before moving to London and working at the University of Greenwich in the central Web Services team.
In her spare time (haha!) and when not chaperoning her children, Alysa enjoys travelling to anywhere with sunshine, beaches and being outdoors with nature.
