Your invitation!
At QMUL, digital accessibility isn’t just a legal requirement—it’s something we all share responsibility for. To help everyone understand why it matters and how we can all contribute, we’re hosting an online session that’s open to all staff. We’d love for you to join us!
Details:
- When: 5 December 2024 - 12.30pm - 13.30pm
- Who’s leading: TELT Learning Technologists, Cat and John.
- Where: Virtually on MS Teams.
- How to register: Head over to our CPD site to find out more and sign up.
In this session, we’ll cover:
- What digital accessibility is and why it’s so important.
- The legal obligations we all have around digital accessibility.
- How accessibility impacts our daily work and lives.
- Practical tips for creating accessible content in your day-to-day tasks.
- A look at some of the digital accessibility tools available here at QMUL.
- Resources and support you can access to help you along the way.
Although this session is part of the Developing Professional Services - 'Lunch and Learn' Series, it is open to all staff regardless of role. It is a great opportunity for anyone to get up to speed on accessibility best practices.
