TELT Welcome Week Induction Sessions 2025

Once again, TELT will be working alongside our Student Ambassadors to deliver Welcome Week induction sessions for new students.

As in previous years, we’ll be using the online booking system, which has been in place since September 2023 and continues to work well. All sessions are open to all students, regardless of their School or programme, giving them more flexibility and a wider choice of times.

You may wish to recommend specific sessions that best align with your students’ Welcome Week timetables. Students can easily book and amend their sessions online and will receive an automated confirmation email upon booking.

During the sessions, students will use their own devices to participate in interactive activities. This allows them to bookmark key resources during the session for easy access later. The confirmation email will remind students to bring a device.

Booking and Course Links

We’ll continue to use the same booking page and QMplus course area as last year. If you've already shared these links on your QMplus Welcome pages or elsewhere, they remain valid and can be reused. 

Please note that we are currently updating some of the QMplus course area and video content. Once complete, the refreshed materials will be available via the same links, so there’s no need to make any changes to existing references.

Please include this information in your Welcome Week communications, including your QMplus Welcome areas and any other relevant channels.

Note: Students can book using non-QM email addresses, as we recognise that some may not yet have their university login details.
