The focus of this theme is on translation and impact leveraging implementation science and clinical effectiveness as part of a learning health system. This theme aims to
- Achieve equity in quality improvement in primary and secondary care
- Implement behavioural change in providers and patients
- Improve preventive services for children and adults
- Improve outcomes for people with long term conditions: including CVD, respiratory, cancer, diabetes, brain and chronic infections
- Improve patient safety through medicines optimisation
- Improve organisation and delivery of health care services
