Profile
I am a Genetic Counsellor with an MSc in Clinical Sciences (Genomic Counselling) from the University of Manchester. I completed the Scientist Training Programme (STP) which included clinical training at the North West Thames Regional Genetics Service. Throughout this, I gained experience across cancer, rare disease, and prenatal genetics, supporting patients and families in making informed decisions about genomic testing.
As part of my MSc, I undertook a research project with the QMUL Women’s Precision Prevention team, exploring patient experiences of the NHS Jewish BRCA Testing Programme. This project reflects my interest in research that directly informs and improves clinical practice.
I am particularly interested in the application of genetic testing for cancer risk stratification and risk management, ensuring equitable access to testing, and developing novel approaches in genetic counselling to support patients in understanding and adapting to genetic results.
