Welcome Desk and Registration
The Welcome Desk is your main point of contact during the conference, and the team will be very happy to help with any questions you might have. Please do come and say hello, whether you need help finding something, want to check where you should be next, or simply need a bit of guidance.
You will usually get a quicker answer by visiting the desk than by emailing us during the day.
In the mornings, the Welcome Desk will be in the Octagon foyer; in the afternoons, it will move to the Arts Two foyer.
The Welcome Desk will be open at the following times:
- 1 September: 5:00–6:00 PM
- 2 September: 8:30 AM–5:15 PM
- 3 September: 9:00 AM–5:15 PM
- 4 September: 9:00 AM–5:15 PM
A reminder that registration for TaPRA 2026 closed on 10 August. As we have made arrangements based on our final delegate numbers, unfortunately it will not be possible to register on the day.
Digital Conference Pack
We know there is a lot of information to take in ahead of TaPRA 2026, so we have brought together the most useful materials in one place. This includes the conference map, the schedule at a glance, and a link to the online programme.
Conference Registration
Registration is required for all presenters and attendees of TaPRA 2026. We are expecting a very large conference, and catering and other arrangements have been made based on the number of registered delegates.
Registration for TaPRA 2026 closed on 10 August, and unfortunately it will not be possible to register on the day.
Conference registration includes refreshments (coffee and snacks), lunches, the drinks reception, the conference party as well as admission to all performances hosted at Queen Mary University of London and Whitechapel Gallery (while tickets last). All conference fees include one year of TaPRA membership (£35 standard / £17 concession), beginning on 2 September 2026 and running until the 2027 annual conference. Please note, the conference dinner is not included in the conference registration.
TaPRA is especially committed to supporting students, as well as unaffiliated researchers and artists. In addition to providing a limited number of bursaries, concession rates are available for these colleagues. In an effort to keep costs manageable, TaPRA has frozen delegate rates this year and is offering discounted on-campus accommodation.
