Project Unity: Youth Perspectives on Terrorism

When: Thursday, March 20, 2025, 6:15 PM - 8:15 PM
Where: People's Palace, Mile End Road London E1 4NS

The School of Law at Queen Mary University of London is proud to partner with Resilience in Unity for a panel discussion on countering terrorism on the 20th of March 2025 from 18:15-20:15.

The event will feature a survivor of the Tavistock Square bombing on 7 July 2005, a former extremist, and a former practitioner - all with differing personal and professional experiences of terrorism. The discussion will be hosted by Dr Andrew Pitt, Lecturer in Law at Queen Mary, and chaired by Faheem Khan, Founding Director of Future Leaders. We will focus on how radicalisation can affect young people and the role we can all play in preventing the spread of extremism. Following the testimony of our panellists, the second segment will involve a Q&A with audience members.
