Dr Noam Gur spoke at a workshop on Virtue Jurisprudence held by the University of Hull

The online one-day workshop on 8 September 2025 was the second of a series of workshops on the theme.

The workshop, which brought together seven specialists in legal theory, explored the notion of virtue in law, along with related topics such as authority, the rule of law, and judicial reasoning. Dr Gur commented on a paper by Dr Giuseppe Rocché, which focused on the ethical and metaethical foundations of authority.

Dr Noam Gur is a Reader in Legal Theory at Queen Mary University of London.
