Enrolment
From mid-August 2025: Enrolment
- Your Admissions team will confirm your place and invite you to complete Online Enrolment via MySIS.
- Please check your junk/clutter email regularly as often Queen Mary’s communications may be received in here.
3 September 2025: Student ID Card Collection
- Online Enrolment must be completed prior.
- Cards will be distributed at the Student Enquiry Centre on the Mile End campus (09:15 AM – 10:30 AM).
Induction
3–4 September 2025: PG Law Induction (1 weeks).
A detailed schedule will be available late summer The induction programme is designed to:
- welcome students onto their programme of study.
- meet the academic and professional services staff and fellow students on your programme.
- modules information and guidance.
- learn how to use QMplus online virtual learning.
- meet the Careers teams.
- intro to Library facilities.
- academic skills sessions.
Semester 1: 8 September – 12 December 2025
During this period, you will be attending module lectures, and tutorials (all modules are compulsory).
8-11 September 2025: Fundamentals of Law and Ethics (IPLC134) - taught twice daily (Intensive 4-day course)
15 September 2025 – 12 December 2025: Weekly teaching starts for the following modules:
- IPLC140 Trade Mark Law.
- IPLC141 Patent Law.
- IPLC132 Copyright and Design Law.
Please consult timetable when available.
9 October 2025: IPLC134 Fundamentals of Law and Ethics assessment (Multiple Choice Quiz element).
12 December 2025: Teaching ends.
15 December 2025 – 2 January 2026: Study Period.
Examination Period: – 8-23 January 2026.
Resit Examination Period: 7 May – 6 June 2026.
