Module description
The lifeblood of the fashion industry is the reputation of designers, celebrities (including models), and brands. This module explores how the fashion industry develops and preserves its reputation through trade libel, defamation, and advertising. This module will explore particular challenges of digital media, celebrity endorsements, influencers and micro-advertisers, including strategies like promoted posts. It will also explore how brands manage their reputation when it is adversely affected by social media campaigns attacking particular decisions or business practices.
