SOLM322 Competition Law and the Fashion Industry
Module description
This module aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the economic and market conditions of the fashion industry that competition rules of the EU and the UK operate in. The module aims specifically to explore the fashion market context, for instance, abuse of market dominance, mergers between fashion firms and houses, and anti-competitive agreements between fashion brands and suppliers. Significantly, it aims to investigate further the interaction between intellectual property law and competition law within the fashion industry.
