Module description

Land, Law and Dispossession gives students a critical understanding of the legal processes and social and political effects of the making land into property.  Covering the English enclosures, colonialism, land reform led by international institutions in the development context and the financial securitization of land, this course gives students a broad and in depth understanding of the relationship between land, law and dispossession.
