SOLM348 International and Comparative Competition Law

Module description

The course is designed to include ‘international’ and 'comparative' elements, looking at issues such as, the process of internationalisation; the role of international organisations; the extraterritorial reach of competition rules; and the relationship between competition and trade policy. Competition law has witnessed an impressive increase during the last two decades. With this unprecedented increase in significance and remarkable geographical expansion, it has become important to examine the role of competition law in a globalised economy.
