Get ready for your new chapter in life as a Queen Mary student – here’s a list of things you can do to prepare.
- Secure your accommodation: Find out all you need to know about Queen Mary residences – how to apply, what to expect, and the support you can receive from the housing services and residential life teams.
- Complete pre-enrolment: Keep an eye on your inbox for an email with the subject ‘Pre-Enrolment at QMUL is now available’ and follow the instructions.
- Pay your fees: After completing pre-enrolment, you can pay your fees or arrange a payment plan.
- Plan your finances: We have resources and guidance on budgeting, applying for funding, and managing your money
- Activate your Queen Mary IT account: Within 72 hours of receiving the pre-enrolment email, you will receive a separate email inviting you to set up your IT account.
- Familiarise yourself with QM Plus – Queen Mary’s virtual learning environment.
- Complete the International Student Success Module if you are an international student.
- Register with the Student Health Service or a local GP: You can register online before you arrive.
- Explore our Get Ahead events and resources and get ready to excel as a university student.
- Have a look at Queen Mary’s careers and enterprise service: They can help you find a part time job, and help you plan your career.
