Your ID card will provide access to the Library and other buildings and facilities for those students based on campus. Please be advised that the guidance below is subject to change so please check this page and your email regularly for the latest information.
New students starting in September 2025 will need to book an appointment via MySIS to collect their ID card.
Booking an appointment is the only way to collect your card and the booking task will only appear for you once you have full or temporary enrolment. You will be able to select which AskQM Hub you would like to collect your card from.
If you are studying remotely then please see the Distance Learning webpage for information about how you will receive your ID card.
Where and When to collect your Student ID Card
If you are studying on campus and haven't yet collected your ID Card, please drop-in to an AskQM Hub to get it at your earliest convenience. Our Hubs are open on the Mile End, Whitechapel and Lincoln's Inn Fields Campus.
Please check the opening hours of your chosen Hub before visiting and ensure that you have your Student ID number ready so that we find your student record. Please remember that you must have received confirmation of your full or temporary enrolment in order to obtain your card.
Students on a distance learning programme can expect to receive their ID card during the first few weeks of the semester.
