I am Me Poetry Competition

Students create a competition for 9/10 year olds to submit poems around their identity based on the values of the Equality Act 2010. QMUL students judge poems & arrange a recital for school students to present their work to friends & family.

Criteria:
  1. Attend all scheduled meetings with the QMLAC team to create and action the competition.
  2. Work with other members of the group to create: a competition briefing paper, competition rules, a video explaining the competition, judge and select poem entries/winners, and plan a recital event.
  3. Attend and assist in the running of the recital for the competition winners and their families.
Open to: All students across QMUL
