The Social Welfare Benefits Clinic at the Legal Advice Centre

The student has worked with two (or more) clients at the Social Welfare Benefits Clinic. Students have either helped clients complete their benefit application forms and / or assisted with mandatory reconsideration letters of appeal under supervision.

Criteria:

1. Attend all compulsory training for this project.
2. Work with two or more clients to assist in completing their welfare benefits application or appeal letter for the mandatory reconsideration process.

 
Open to: 2nd/3rd year Law undergraduates, or those in the 2nd/3rd year of a joint programme run by Law
Year of 1st HEAR Recognition: 2019/20
