Our committee membership, and how to report issues and ideas to our committee.

DSCC and IGT

DSCC's work will encompass ensuring IGT requirements across the Faculty are met through a number of measures:  

  • Understand and manage the IGT requirements for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FMD), and to co-ordinate these. 
  • Develop and implement a plan for IGT across the Faculty, setting out timescales, infrastructure requirements and costs. 
  • Provide a central source of advice for all researchers to seek advice on matters of IGT compliance. 
  • Act as a focal point for advice on and co-ordination of interactions with the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC/NIA) as necessary. 
  • Seek advice from ITS and JRMO as required to ensure close liaison on IGT matters.
