Through hands-on sessions, sample lectures, and insights from current students, you’ll gain a first-hand sense of what studying these subjects is really like. Our welcoming, supportive, and intellectually curious community is excited to give you a glimpse into life as a future biologist, zoologist, or geneticist. – we look forward to sharing it with you!

Eligibility Criteria

  • Year 12 or 13
  • Studying A-Level Biology
  • Considering a biological-based degree at university (Biology, Zoology or Medical Genetics)

To ensure we are creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, and one that reflects the University experience, we ask that teachers do not book large school groups. We have a limited capacity and we want students to mix with new people, experience new ways of working, and get a feel for what it would be like to study with us.

PLEASE NOTE: This taster day is for students only and sessions have been set up specifically for students, so to have the best experience we would recommend you come without a guardian.

This event is in person only, please only register if you are able to attend in person at our Queen Mary University of London Mile End Campus.
