Each year the School ring-fences a budget specifically to support Scholarship in the Centre for Bioscience and Psychology Education.
The recipients of the latest funding were:
- Gwen Brekelmans, who will be presenting her work, conducted with Paraskevi Argyriou and undergraduate students, at the European Society of Psychology Learning and Teaching (ESPLAT) conference in Münster in September 2025
- Thomas Malcomson, who will present his scholarship on the design of MCQ assessments at the Assessment in Higher Education (AHE) conference in Manchester in June 2025, and
- Anum Khalid, who received funding towards attending the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching – Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research in Higher Education (CETL-MSOR) conference in Liverpool in September 2025.
It’s great to see Scholars within the Centre conducting projects which are of interest to such diverse audiences and it is our pleasure to be able to support them financially in disseminating their work.
Lilah Glazer and Yuan Zhou also received funding which will enable them to purchase and administer critical thinking surveys as part of their scholarship research based in both our London and Nanchang campuses.
Well done to all recipients!
