Term dates
The School's normal admin hours are 9.30am-4.30pm. Activities for some programmes may take place outside of these times.
Please note
Masters students are expected to work on their dissertation/project throughout the summer – for these students this period between the end of Semester 3 and their course end date is not a vacation.
PhD students do not follow this pattern of attendance – vacations should be agreed in writing with their supervisor(s).

Semester 1 - Examination Period
- Study period: 2 January - 3 January 2025
- Examinations: 6 January - 21 January 2025
Semester 2
- 22 January - 15 April 2025
- Bank holidays: 18 and 21 April 2025
Semester 3 - Examination period for Semester 2 & Year Long Modules
- Study period: 6 May - 7 May 2025
- Examinations: 8 May - 6 June 2025
- Bank holidays: 5 and 26 May 2025
Late Summer Resit Period
