Amplify Trading

Amplify Trading is a professional trading firm based in London. Alongside its trading floor in the City, Amplify Trading has developed unique software designed to train and assess new traders as they make decisions in the uncertainty of live financial markets.

This technology is used to deliver graduate programmes for leading institutions such as Bank of America and JP Morgan in New York, as well as HSBC and Deutsche Bank in London. The value of the programme lies in helping students develop an understanding of live market dynamics, while also gaining a firm grasp of the various roles and operations on both the buy side and sell side of the industry through immersive simulations.

The simulations are organised across three key pathways:

  • Markets – trading and asset management
  • Banking – financial statements and company valuation
  • Quant – automating processes and trading strategies using Python

Participants can track their performance through leaderboards, with top performers gaining fast-track job and internship opportunities with leading financial institutions. The platform also provides on-demand learning content for each pathway, as well as expert career advice to support students’ professional development.
