Video card
The video card content type allows you to display a YouTube or Vimeo video on your page along with a heading and description sentence. Use the Video Embed content type if you don't want to include a heading and description sentence.
When to use a Video Card
A Video Card content type allows you to add a YouTube or Vimeo video to your T4 page. Don’t just paste the URL to the video, because this isn’t accessible. By using a Video Card, you allow the content to be screen reader-friendly. A Video Card also allows your video to have a heading and description on the webpage.
Example
The Video Card content type includes -
- Title
- Description
- Video
Tagging Tiny Turtles
Scientists have found a way to track turtle hatchlings, and they hope to eventually uncover the mystery of their movements during their first journey out to sea.

Below are the different fields you will fill in when creating a Video Card, and what information you should include.

This is how your content type will be named within the backend of T4 and will not be publicly visible.
Heading
This should be the title of your video.
Supporting text
This should be the description of your video.
Video ID
- The YouTube ID is the code after the '=' sign in the URL. For example, in ‘https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBt7Is0noh4’ the YouTube ID is ‘IBt7Is0noh4’.
