Data infrastructure and tools
QMUL data infrastructure includes a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster called Apocrita for research data and a dedicated Data Safe Haven for sensitive research data, all with dedicated storage, compute and support by research IT services.
Access to a dedicated Andrena cluster with a set of GPU notes is available through the University's Digital Environment Research Institute.
The Research IT services team provides support for project-dedicated physical servers or virtual servers with SSL certificate management.
QMUL has an active Globus licence for transferring, sharing, and discovering data via a web browser and a GitHub instance for version control code review and sharing with additional control and security.
