Regular Giving

Last academic year (2019/20) our alumni very kindly donated over £100,000 to the Annual Fund. Because of their generosity, we’ve been able to provide 34 Scholarships for Excellence and 20 Hardship Bursaries for our undergraduate students this year. We’ve also supported student projects, clubs and societies to help boost their personal and academic development and overall university experience.

Volunteering

In 2019/20, a total of 763 individual alumni undertook 990 volunteer activities and we hope to grow these numbers in 2020/21. Volunteer activities include:

  • Mentoring current students
  • Speaking to prospective students about studying at Queen Mary
  • Hosting Queen Mary students in their place of work as interns
  • Giving careers talks
  • Providing Alumni Profiles for our blog, Queen Mary web pages and promotional material
