Define your goals and assess what you have to offer

It is important to tailor your job search, rather than mass-apply to hundreds of roles. Do some research into what kind of job you want, what impact you want to make, and what motivates you.

So take some time out to:

  • Define your goals. Identify what matters to you most, e.g.  work-life balance, company culture, salary, the opportunity to make an impact.
  • Assess what you have to offer. Take stock of the hard and soft skills you’ve gained, and identify any gaps for your target industry.
